Sauron made friends with a Toad!
At first, I thought he was going to kill it. But he just started petting it. Not swatting at it, and not trying to hurt it at all. They ended up just layin’ and chillin’ together for awhile. Then the toad went on his merry little way. Too cute haha!
I love Cupcake Max’s makeup! #makeup #style #2brokegirls
Catholic friends: Please light a candle and offer a prayer tonight, 6PM, in response to the Day of Lamentation for the victims of #Haiyan. Thank you and God bless.
Tumblr, you are awfully nice.
Check out the tiny sun beside the Tumblr logo. It’s the sun on the Philippine flag which symbolizes some of the provinces in our country. As you may have heard, the Visayas region in the Philippines have been hit by the super typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan) and has taken almost 10,000 lives and millions of properties. It would take more than 2 years to rehabilitate the whole region because the storm surge literally erased some of the municipalities on the map.
At this point, the Filipinos are working hard to help each other by donating and volunteering. We are grateful to everyone who have been continually praying and sending help. Here are the countries and agencies that have extended/pledged help for the victims of typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan (as of today):
UN ($25 million)
US ($20 million)
Britain (10 million pounds)
Australia ($9.4 million)
UN World Food Program ($2 million)
UK (6 million pounds)
UNICEF ($34 million)
Japan ($10 million)
Canada (C$5 million)
HSBC ($1 million)
Denmark (KR 10 million)
European Union (EUR 3 million)
New Zealand (NZ $2.15 million)
Norway (KR 20 million)

From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank everyone who have extended their thoughts, prayers and help to the Filipino people. Maraming salamat po.
Thousands of people are still missing and hundreds upon hundreds of our fellowmen are left without home, food and water. Children and elderly are dying because of uncured diseases. So many of my friends do not have any form of communication with their families in the devastated areas We are doing the best that we can here in Manila, Philippines to help our people in the Visayas region.
There’s still so much work to be done. Any kind of help would be very much appreciated. It can be as simple as liking or reblogging this post so people from all parts of the world would know how grateful we are of all the help we are getting.
It’s heartbreaking to see our countrymen fall. But I am proud to say that the Filipino people are strong enough to face even the toughest storms. Again, thank you to everyone who have volunteered and extended their help. it’s amazing seeing countries helping each other in times of need.
Mabuhay po kayo!
In a matter of hours on Friday, Typhoon Haiyan completely devastated parts of the central Philippines. It was one of the strongest storms ever recorded. The death toll is estimated up to 10,000 with hundreds of thousands more displaced. The country has declared a “state of calamity.”

Thank you, Tumblr.
I’m not the kind of person who gets attached too quickly, but when I do it’s always for keeps. This is my dog, Zimba. She’s mini dachshund and I hate that I wasn’t able to kiss and hug her for the last time.
